Mobile Automation is an industrial electrical, automation and robotics contractor based in Montrose. We have been operating since 1987. Most of our work sits across Melbourne's eastern and south-eastern industrial belt.
We are looking for an experienced A Grade electrician to join our electrical team.
About the role
Our customers range from food and beverage, pharmaceutical and manufacturing through to defence, heavy industry and commercial.
You will work across installations, upgrades and factory relocations in industrial plants. In a given month you might fault-find a stopped production line, terminate a new machine, or complete a machine safety upgrade.
What we are after
- A Grade Electrical Licence (ESV) and a current Victorian driver's licence
- The ability to read and mark up schematics, isolate and test safely, and complete a job without rework
- Confidence dealing directly with maintenance managers and plant staff
- Australian work rights

- Experience in an industrial workplace such as manufacturing, food,
process or heavy industry
- VSD setup and fault-finding
- PLC and HMI work (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron)
- Machine safety experience
- AutoCAD Electrical
- Hazardous area experience
- EWP, confined space and working at heights tickets
