What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager – Civil and Road Infrastructure with strong technical expertise in civil construction, road maintenance, and infrastructure project delivery. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage projects from planning through to completion, oversee contractors and procurement activities, and provide sound technical advice to support Council’s infrastructure objectives.



With excellent stakeholder engagement, financial management, and problem-solving skills, you will be committed to delivering high-quality outcomes, ensuring compliance with legislative and safety requirements, and driving continuous improvement across infrastructure programs and services.

What You Will Bring:

You will bring proven experience in the delivery and management of civil infrastructure, road network, and capital works projects, supported by strong technical knowledge of road construction, maintenance, drainage, traffic management, and asset renewal practices. Your ability to independently manage all stages of project delivery, from planning and design through to procurement, contract administration, and project completion, will be complemented by strong contractor, budget, and stakeholder management skills. With excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, you will be capable of preparing technical documentation, managing competing priorities, and building effective working relationships while ensuring compliance, safety, and high-quality project outcomes. Experience with Traffic Management Plans, Traffic Guidance Schemes, and industry-standard software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD will further support your success in this role.

Must Have:Current National Criminal History Check, Current C Class Driver Licence (NT or equivalent), Relevant qualification in project management, civil engineering, construction, or a related discipline (Certificate IV, Diploma or higher).​‌

Please note: A current National Police Clearance, issued within the last six (6) months, is an essential requirement for this position.
