Are you hands-on, mechanically minded and keen to build a career in metal fabrication and welding? We are looking for a motivated 1st Year Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding) Apprentice to join a skilled and experienced team in Sydney.

About the Business

Our client specialises in structural steel, steel staircases, plant maintenance and balustrading, servicing a diverse range of commercial and residential projects.

The business also undertakes servicing and maintenance work across numerous concrete plants throughout Sydney, providing an apprentice with valuable exposure to a wide variety of fabrication, installation and industrial maintenance environments.

About the Prospect

As an apprentice, you will primarily work in the workshop while also undertaking regular site work. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience across a broad range of engineering fabrication activities, including:

- Structural steel fabrication and assembly.
- Welding and metalwork.
- Steel installation and on-site projects.
- Finishing and fabrication techniques.
- Industrial plant servicing and maintenance.
- Working across commercial, residential and industrial environments.

You will learn from experienced tradespeople while working towards your Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding).

We are seeking someone who:

- Has a genuine interest in metal fabrication, welding and engineering.
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work in a workshop and on-site.
- Is physically fit and comfortable working in a variety of environments.
- Holds a current driver’s licence.
- Is reliable, enthusiastic and keen to learn.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to developing their trade skills.

Previous experience is not essential, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are highly valued.
