As the Regional Head of Learning APAC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the learning culture and building the capability and ultimately performance of colleagues across our Regions and Hays worldwide.

This role has a matrix reporting line, reporting to the Global Director of Talent & Learning, as well as being a key member of the regional P&C; leadership team. You will work closely and collaboratively with both regional leadership and Global Experience teams. This role will ensure clarity of understanding of local learning needs and input to the proposition and design of global content, framework and tools..

This is a full‑time permanent role commencing immediately based in our Hays office in Sydney CBD.

Key responsibilities include:

- Design and deliver learning solutions that address region-specific capability needs where global programmes do not exist, ensuring alignment to APAC business priorities and workforce requirements.
- Lead the execution of the global learning and development strategies across the region to support business growth and performance objectives




- Collaborate closely with global learning colleagues to input into the design of the global leadership development offering and execution of this across the region.
- Oversee and manage a high-performing team of learning and development professionals, nurturing their growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, impactful learning solutions.
- Collaborate with P&C; Director APAC, Commercial People Partners and APAC leadership teams to deliver capability and talent development initiatives aligned to business objectives, workforce priorities and global learning principles.
- Lead the deployment, facilitation and continuous improvement of global learning programmes and initiatives across the APAC region, driving adoption, engagement and impact.

What you'll need to succeed

- Proven experience in a senior L&D; role, with a track record of success in a multinational or regional capacity.
- Exceptional leadership, collaboration and team management skills.
- Robust communication, facilitation, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate ideas into actionable plans.
- Highly collaborative with an appreciation of both global and local needs.
- Curious, tuned into the latest external developments in the learning space.

- Proficiency with learning management systems and digital learning tools and proven ability to operate effectively across different regional system environments.
