We’re looking for a commercially driven Territory Account Manager – Civil to grow customer relationships, develop new business and help customers get the right technology for their projects.

The Role

This is a hands-on territory sales role focused on business development, account management and solutions selling.

You’ll work closely with new and existing customers, understand their challenges and recommend the right mix of Aptella solutions across machine control, weighing, GPS, laser and site technology.

You’ll manage opportunities from the first conversation through to demonstration, proposal and close, while building long-term relationships that position Aptella as a trusted partner.

Key responsibilities include:

- Grow sales and develop new business opportunities across your territory

- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers

- Understand customer needs and recommend the right technical solution

- Present and demonstrate machine control, weighing, GPS and laser technology

- Manage opportunities from prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and close

- Develop leads through customer visits, networking and industry activity

- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate forecasting

- Manage territory and account plans to support long-term growth

- Monitor competitor activity, market trends and emerging opportunities

- Work closely with Sales Operations and internal teams to deliver a strong customer experience

The PD places a strong focus on prospecting, questioning, active listening, negotiation and closing, as well as regular customer engagement and relationship building.





About You

You’re a confident, relationship-focused salesperson who enjoys understanding customer problems and turning them into commercial opportunities.

You bring:

- Experience in territory sales, account management, business development or technical sales

- Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills

- Confidence presenting and demonstrating technical solutions

- Strong negotiation and closing capability

- Commercial awareness and a customer-first approach

- Good organisation and territory management skills

- Confidence using CRM and managing a sales pipeline

- Ability to work independently and manage your own activity

- Willingness to travel and spend time with customers as required

Experience with civil construction, machine control, weighing, GPS, laser systems or construction technology will be highly regarded.
