About the role

Panorama Radiology Specialists is seeking a professional, relationship-focused Medical Liaison Officer to join our comprehensive multimodality radiology clinic at Benowa on the Gold Coast on a permanent part-time basis. Our doctor-owned clinic is operated by a friendly, highly experienced team committed to providing exceptional service and patient care using comprehensive state of the art medical imaging technology. This role involves regular engagements with referring specialists, GPs and referring practices to discuss and promote all our modalities including MRI, intervention and PET-CT. You will work with the management team and principal radiologist to develop marketing strategy, meet key KPIs, and monitor and analyse results and referral patterns. A high standard of professional presentation and clear communication is essential.

Key responsibilities

- Regular engagement with referring specialists, GPs and referring practices

- Discuss and promote MRI, interventional radiology, PET-CT and the full range of clinic modalities

- Work with the management team and principal radiologist to develop marketing and referral strategy

- Meet key KPIs and work independently while following clear direction

- Monitor and analyse referral patterns, results and market activity

- Represent the clinic professionally in person and by telephone

- Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with referrers and practice staff

- Support effective communication between referrers, the principal radiologist and the clinical team

About you

- High level of communication skills, with exceptional interpersonal skills in person and on the telephone

- High standard of professional presentation and clear communication essential

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Ability to meet key KPIs and take ownership of results





- Ability to monitor and analyse referral patterns and results

- Outstanding organisational skills and a professional, proactive outlook

- Respect for fellow team members, patients and referring clinicians

- Ability to adapt quickly and communicate effectively within a supportive team environment

- Healthcare, liaison, business development or radiology experience highly regarded

- Preferably experience with Karisma radiology RIS software system
