Estimator – Trade / Rope Access Business

We are looking for an experienced estimator to join our expanding office team to assist with getting accurate quotes out on time.

We are a fast-growing rope access and façade maintenance company working on high-rise buildings across Southeast Queensland.

Our team works on some of the region’s most iconic buildings, helping builders, body corporates and facility managers maintain and protect their assets.

We’re the number 1 reviewed Rope Access services provider in South East Queensland and our business is booming. We’ve got a strong pipeline of work and big plans over the coming years.

The Role

You’ll be working alongside our current estimator and Sales Manager, helping price and build scopes for a wide range of projects.

This isn’t just pushing out quotes.

You’ll be involved in understanding how jobs are actually delivered, building scopes properly, and taking ownership of your numbers.

Types of Work You’ll Be Pricing Include:

- Façade inspections

- Glass Replacement

- Concrete repairs & remediation

- Painting

- Expansion joint replacement

- Height safety systems

- Façade cleaning & washdowns

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Reviewing drawings, site photos, and client scopes

- Building scopes from scratch where required

- Understanding access, sequencing, and methodology





- Pricing labour, materials, equipment and risk

- Working with operations to validate how jobs will actually be delivered

- Assisting with variations and scope changes

- Supporting the continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in estimating (construction, maintenance or similar)

- Strong understanding of maintenance and façade rectification processes

- High attention to detail

- Ability to think practically... not just theoretically

- Strong communication skills

- Be reliable and accountable

- Ability to manage multiple projects at once

- Strive towards always produce high-quality work in an appropriate time frame

- Take pride in your work and want to improve

Highly Desired

- Rope access or height safety knowledge

- Trade background

- Experience with Simpro or similar systems

- Experience working with builders, body corporates or facility managers

This Role Could Also Suit

A strong rope access technician or tradesperson looking to get off the tools.

However, this is not an easy transition. You will need to be highly organised, robust with numbers, confident using systems and spreadsheets, and able to think commercially — not just technically.

Hours & Pay

? Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (Full Time)

? Salary: Up to $120,000 + Super (depending on experience)
