Maven Partners has been engaged to complete a search to identify and appoint a partner within the External Audit division of a significant, multi-service global firm.

Our client is very specifically seeking a recent partner or associate partner as part of their growth strategy. Our client has a surplus of existing clients, and so this role offers a "soft landing".

The role will be pivotal to the future of the firm’s strategic value proposition, and will drive the continued growth and success of the external audit team.

Responsibilities

- Manage an existing portfolio of audit clients - no need to bring fees across with you initially. There will be an ongoing growth mandate.
- Manage, coach and mentor, a team of auditors.
- Explore opportunities for growth within yours, and the firm’s, networks.




- Manage stakeholder relationships.
- Seek partnership in the short term.
- Become part of the strategic decision making of a progressive firm.

Requirements
- Significant Australian experience within an external audit environment, preferably within a large consulting environment.
- Excellent presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong network within the local market.
- Proven ability to manage and grow a portfolio of audit clients.
- Permanent on ongoing working rights in Australia (please note this is a mandatory requirement).
