Key responsibilities

- Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates in line with industry standards.
- Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels and parts using advanced tools and techniques.
- Restore vehicle frames and structures to manufacturer specifications, ensuring safety and quality.
- Carry out welding, grinding, sanding, and filling tasks with precision and care.
- Refit panels, trims, and hardware to complete high-quality repairs.
- Collaborate with painters and mechanical technicians for seamless workflow and outstanding results.
- Maintain thorough records of work completed and parts used.
- Ensure all repairs align with Premium Auto Body’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.




- Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe workspace for yourself and your team.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry developments, tools, and best practices.
- Communicate repair progress and technical details clearly to supervisors and team members.
- Conduct quality control checks before vehicle handover to guarantee repair integrity.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver prompt service.
- Support apprentices and junior staff with guidance and on-the-job training.

Qualifications and skills

- Trade qualification as a Panel Beater (Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent).
- Minimum 1 year experience in panel beating, structural repairs, and vehicle refinishing.
- Strong knowledge of collision repair equipment, welding, and body alignment techniques.
- Ability to interpret repair manuals, technical drawings, and job specifications accurately.
- Commitment to high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
