About the Role

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring press brake machinery to manufacture components in accordance with engineering drawings and production requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate press brake machinery.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
- Measure and inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.




- Select appropriate tooling and make machine adjustments as required.
- Monitor production runs and identify any quality or performance issues.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Safely handle raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with fabrication, welding, and assembly teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience operating press brake machinery advantageous, but not necessary as training will be provided.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a solid work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety practices.

Desirable Skills & Experience

- Experience working with aluminium and sheet metal products.
- Experience with CNC press brakes.
- Understanding of manufacturing tolerances and quality control processes.
