About the Role

The On Call Incident Response role is a full time permanent position and will involve an 8-hour shift pattern between the hours of hours 5pm to 7am, Wednesdays to Sundays. This is an ACTIVE role, not based from home, rather out supporting services on a permanent night shift basis.

What You'll Be Doing

n

- Conduct visits to services to provide support and guidance to staff in trauma informed best practice, underpinned by the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention model
n
- Promote safe, nurturing, and culturally respectful environments for all individuals in our care
n
- Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents that occur during shifts
n
- Provide oversight, direction, and reassurance to on shift teams
n




- Step in to cover staffing vacancies or emergencies when required
n
- Review the care environment to maintain a clean, safe home for young people
n
- Ensure rostered staff comply with WHS requirements
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Minimum Diploma in community, youth, or social work
n
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and therapeutic care practices
n
- Strong documentation and compliance capability
n
- Ability to rapidly process and interpret complex information from multiple sources, triage risk and respond to incidents
n
- Current driver's license, reliable vehicle, and probity clearances
n
