Store Manager - Purvis Cellars (Richmond)

$70,000 base salary + Super + Store Sales Bonus Commission

Purvis Cellars is looking for a Full time Store Manager to take charge of our Richmond store. This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves wine, beer, people and retail. You'll be running the store day-to-day, working closely with the wider Purvis team and helping us grow sales and build an even better Richmond shop.

About the role

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Richmond store. This is a hands-on management role — you'll be on the shop floor, talking to customers, selling wine and getting stuck into whatever needs to be done.

Key responsibilities

Leading the store and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly

Helping customers choose great wines and beers and making confident recommendations

Driving sales and working with the team to hit store targets

Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers

Stock management, merchandising and receiving deliveries

Packing and managing online orders

Maintaining a high standard across the shop

Training and supporting team members

Assisting with tastings, events and wine education

Working closely with the wider Purvis team on promotions, new products and sales opportunities

About you

Has solid wine and beer knowledge

Has previous experience in wine retail, hospitality or a similar management role

Is confident selling and making recommendations to customers





Has a genuine passion for wine and beer and wants to keep learning

Is commercially minded and motivated by growing sales

Is organised, reliable and takes ownership

Is confident leading a small team while still being a team player

Can work independently and stay calm when things get busy

Has excellent customer service and communication skills

Has a current driver's licence – essential

Has a current RSA – essential

Is available Tuesday to Saturday, including Saturdays – essential
