Crestmead Medical Centre is a modern , general practice located on the south side of Brisbane .We offer a supportive team- based workplace in which receptionists and nurses work closely with GP's to deliver high-quality, individualized care.

The Role

We are seeking a medical receptionist for 4 days per week to join our Crestmead Practice. You will be providing high quality customer service to all patients. This is a role suitable for a person who thrives in a busy environment. This role will have you working on a busy front reception desk, welcoming patients to the Practice , supporting health care professionals as well as general administration duties.

Key Responsibilities

Greetings of patients on arrival and welcoming them

Generation of patient bookings

Data entry of patient record

Answering telephone calls and enquiries

Liaison with Doctors and clinical staff

Scanning

The Successful Candidate





Capacity to multi task , prioritize and good time management

Knowledge of Best Practice is an advantage

Detail orientated

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility in your availability to assist in holiday and sick leave relief

Professional presentation

Experience in a medical centre an advantage especially medical software

Computer literate and software experience an advantage

Have the ability to work independently and/or as part of a team

A passion to deliver outstanding patient care

Knowledge of Medicare processes

Uniform provided
