Truck Driver - Heavy Rigid or Heavy Combination

Humphris Nursery is seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid or Heavy Combination Driver to join the team on a permanent, casual basis, Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for transporting stock between Yarra Valley production sites and completing multi-drop nursery plant deliveries throughout greater Melbourne, primarily across the eastern and south-eastern suburbs.

Key responsibilities

- Completing multi-drop nursery plant deliveries throughout greater Melbourne, primarily across the eastern and south-eastern suburbs.
- Safely loading, transporting and unloading plants and other nursery products.
- Providing professional and friendly customer service at delivery locations.
- Ensuring perishable products are delivered safely and on time.
- Assisting with yard duties and general maintenance when not driving.
- Maintaining a strong focus on workplace health and safety.

About you

- Australian Resident for rostering purposes
- A current Heavy Rigid or Heavy Combination Driver's Licence.
- A minimum of 1 year's relevant heavy vehicle driving experience.
- A good knowledge of greater Melbourne, particularly the eastern and south-eastern suburbs.
- A strong understanding of customer service and skilled delivery practices.
- The physical fitness required to perform driving,



loading/unloading and occasional yard duties.
- A reliable, flexible and positive attitude.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team.
- A balanced temperament and a genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
