Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for delivering high-quality cleaning services? We're seeking a proactive and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations for our Defence Site.

n

The Position

n

As the Supervisor, responsible for overseeing cleaning services across multiple facilities. They will assist in developing and maintain the cleaning services of the base Operations. You'll be responsible to deliver a proactive cleaning service and look to remove barriers that impact on the team's ability to perform.

- Supervise cleaning teams across multiple shifts, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
n
- Coordinate rosters, manage attendance, and arrange cover for absences.
n
- Conduct site inductions, training, and ongoing development for staff.
n
- Monitor stock levels and oversee the safe use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment.
n
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural, linguistic and religious backgrounds and deal with sensitive issues in a manner that is respectful of people individual dignity, cultural values and religious beliefs.
n
- Ability to balance the requirements of working in a secure environment whilst promoting healthy routines for clients.
n
- Identify and elevate risks, safety issues,



and operational challenges.
n
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role as a cleaning supervisory experience.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong customer service and problem-solving skills
n
- Supervisory skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement across a team.
n
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the role, environment and emergency protocols.
n

Mandatory Requirements

n

- Provide a Clear Police check not older than 60 days.
n
- Ability to obtain a pre-employment medical clearance (including Drug & Alcohol testing)
n
- Defence or military experience – highly desirable
n
- Open to obtaining a defence clearance through our process.
n
