The Role
The Malabar Community Midwifery Link Service (MCMLS) coordinates and delivers high quality Midwifery care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, women having an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander baby and their families.

The purpose of the role is to provide a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the Malabar Midwifery team of the Royal Hospital for Women to achieve its objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

Selection Criteria:
- This is a position identified for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander People on the basis of a genuine occupational qualification under sections 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
- Experience of responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to providing quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures
- Ability to use computer hardware, software applications and electronic systems at a basic level in accordance with policy and procedure
- Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks in a demanding environment
- Demonstrated flexibility when dealing with clients and maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel.
