The Role

Porter Hire is seeking an experienced and motivated Territory Hire Manager to join our Victorian team.

Based from our Melbourne branch, you will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining strong customer relationships across the Melbourne metropolitan area and broader Victorian market.

This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing position focused on equipment hire sales, business development, territory expansion and account management. You will work closely with customers to understand their equipment requirements,



provide practical hire solutions and deliver a high standard of service throughout the hire process.

The successful candidate will be commercially driven, comfortable working independently and willing to take a practical approach when required.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have experience in the equipment hire, heavy equipment sales, construction, civil infrastructure or related industries.

Knowledge of earthmoving equipment and an established network within the Melbourne or Victorian construction market would be highly regarded. However, applicants with strong business development capability and relevant industry experience are also encouraged to apply.

- Current Victorian driver licence
- Knowledge of earthmoving equipment or the equipment hire industry
