Job Description & Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team on a full time basis in the Gold Coast region. The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of wall and floor tiling for high-end residential and commercial developments.

Duties include:

- Laying wall and floor tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, terracotta, granite, and natural stone products.
- Preparing wall and floor surfaces by cleaning, plastering, leveling, and sealing prior to tiling.
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping tiles using wet saws, mechanical tile cutters, and precision hand tools.




- Applying adhesives, grouting joints, and ensuring waterproofing standards are strictly met in line with Australian standards.
- Inspecting finished surfaces to ensure perfection, alignment, correct pitch/fall, and adherence to design specifications.
- Reading and interpreting plans, blue prints, and architectural drawings to calculate material requirements and layout specs.

Skills & Qualifications Required

- Formal Qualification: AQF Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
- Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant hands-on experience as a qualified Wall and Floor Tiler.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in working with diverse tile/stone materials, surface prep, waterproofing, and intricate layout design.
- Quality Focus: High attention to detail, precision workmanship, and strong physical fitness to manage site demands.
- Licences & Clearances: Valid Driver's Licence and White Card (General Construction Induction Card).

A salary of $80,000 - $85,000 per annum + Superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
