Gold Coast Dirt Bike Performance - Burleigh Town QLD

Gold Coast Dirt Bike Performance is seeking a skilled Motorcycle Mechanic to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-performance dirt bikes and motorcycles in a dynamic automotive trades environment. Based in Burleigh Heads, QLD, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing dirt bikes to the highest standards. This role offers flexibility with part-time hours whilst allowing you to utilise your mechanical expertise in a specialist automotive setting.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in motorcycles and dirt bikes using appropriate testing equipment and techniques
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, spark plug servicing, and chain maintenance
- Service and repair engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and braking systems
- Conduct thorough inspections of motorcycles and dirt bikes to identify wear and potential issues
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work completed
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
- Advise customers on maintenance schedules and repair recommendations
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

- Formal qualification or apprenticeship in light vehicle mechanics or a related field




- Proven experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic with demonstrated expertise in motorcycle or dirt bike servicing and repair
- Strong technical knowledge of engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and suspension components
- Proficiency with mechanical and diagnostic tools and equipment
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to automotive work
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and customer service focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence is preferred
