We are currently recruiting for an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join a large-scale Federal Government transformation program.

n

This is a senior delivery role working across multiple workstreams, business areas and technology teams. The program has a solid focus on legislative and regulatory reform, with technology supporting the broader business transformation.

n

You will work closely with senior program leadership, delivery teams and stakeholders to coordinate planning, manage dependencies and keep multiple streams of work aligned and moving.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Leading and facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning and other large-scale planning events
n
- Coordinating delivery across multiple teams, workstreams and releases
n
- Managing cross-team dependencies, risks, issues and delivery challenges
n
- Working across business, policy, regulatory and technology stakeholders
n
- Supporting alignment between business requirements,



operational change and technology delivery
n
- Providing delivery reporting, governance and transparency to senior stakeholders
n
- Supporting delivery within a SAFe / scaled Agile environment
n
- Ensuring delivery aligns with government governance, assurance and compliance requirements
n

n

We are looking for someone with:

n

n
- 7+ years' experience leading large-scale government transformation programs
n
- Strong experience working in SAFe or comparable scaled Agile environments
n
- Proven experience as an RTE, STE or in a closely related senior delivery role
n
- Hands-on experience facilitating PI Planning
n
- Experience across business design and systems implementation
n
- Experience working within highly regulated government environments
n
- Strong executive and senior stakeholder management skills
n
- Solid program and portfolio management experience
n
- Excellent coordination, communication and dependency management skills
n

n

Current AGSVA Baseline clearance is essential.

n

This role will be offered as an initial contract through to 30 June 2027, with a view to extension.
