Sales / Junior Business Development Representative

Scafeast Scaffold and Formwork - Laverton North VIC

Scafeastis an industry leader in height safety solutions in Victoria, we are manufacturers of formwork and scaffolding products with branches in Laverton and Dandenong South.

There currently exists an exciting opportunity for an honest, enthusiastic and energized Sales / Junior Business DevelopmentRepresentativewith Steel Scaffolding experience to join the Australian Scaffolding and Formwork team, working in Laverton North Branch.

To be successful in this role you must be driven, committed and motivated by success. You must display a positive attitude and be willing to put in the “hard yards” to reap the rewards.

Your responsibilities:

- Developing new customers through outbound outreach, referrals, and inbound enquiries.
- Maintaining existing customer relationships .
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and best terms
- Prepare and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed performance targets
- Sales administration such as quotes, reporting and order processing etc.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions,



quotes, and sales activity through a dedicated CRM system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and after-sales support to drive retention

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

- Robust interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong work ethic and application
- Effective at building and maintaining mutually beneficial B2B relationships
- Focus on details is essential
- Sales fundamentals (presentation, ability to influence, rapport)
- Effective pipeline management to maintain a consistent supply of new business.
- A positive attitude and resilience in the face of knock-backs
- Willingness to learn and a competitive spirit.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Knowledge of the steel scaffold/construction industry will be highly regarded, as will previous sales experience.

You will undertake a comprehensive training program a laptop and a mobile phone will be provided for you to assist in your success.

A Full Drivers Licence is essential for this role.
