Location: Melbourne or Sydney
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 including super
Security Clearance: Active Baseline required
We are looking for an experienced ELK Administrator / Elastic Stack Engineer to support and enhance enterprise-scale monitoring, logging and observability environments.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on maintaining the stability, performance and security of Elastic Stack platforms, while supporting upgrades, troubleshooting and ongoing improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain enterprise ELK environments across production and non-production systems.
- Support Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats and associated integrations.
- Design and implement monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
- Lead or support platform upgrades, migrations and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot performance, availability and technical issues.
- Develop scalable alerting, reporting and monitoring capabilities.
- Work closely with engineering, operations and platform teams.
- Provide support across BAU environments, including incident resolution and after-hours activities where required.
About You
- Strong hands-on experience as an ELK Administrator, Elastic Stack Engineer or similar.
- Recent enterprise experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana.
- Experience with ELK installations, configuration, upgrades and migrations.
- Robust knowledge of monitoring, alerting, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience developing observability and logging solutions.
- Comfortable supporting enterprise production environments.
- Australian Citizen with an active Baseline security clearance.
