Morson Edge Australia is proud to partner with ACCIONA Energía, a global leader in renewable energy, to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support and strengthen H&S; performance across its Australian business.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced H&S; professional to work closely with corporate stakeholders, business leaders and site teams, providing guidance and supporting continuous improvement across safety culture, systems, critical risk and overall business performance.

Based in Melbourne, the role will lead a small corporate H&S; team and play an important part in creating safe, healthy and productive workplaces, with a robust focus on physical and psychological health, wellbeing and positive safety outcomes.

The Opportunity

- Partner with senior leaders and operational teams across the Australian business
- Influence H&S; culture, critical risk management and continuous improvement
- Work closely with ACCIONA Energía’s international H&S; team and broader global network

Duties

- Lead and support the development of a high-performing corporate H&S; team
- Partner with senior management and site leaders to strengthen H&S; performance
- Oversee critical risk management, contractor assurance and key H&S; improvement initiatives
- Maintain and improve the H&S; management system in line with Australian legislation and global requirements
- Support ISO 45001 compliance and assurance activities
- Lead and support incident investigations,



corrective actions and lessons learned
- Develop and coordinate H&S; training, awareness and wellbeing initiatives
- Monitor and report on H&S; performance across the Australian business
- Maintain regular engagement with operational teams through site visits
- Provide H&S; input into bids, project management plans and other commercial activities as required
- Support the development and management of the annual H&S; budget

Skills & Experience

- Strong H&S;/HSEQ experience within construction, renewable energy, manufacturing or other operational environments
- Relevant degree or qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety, Quality or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of Australian H&S; legislation, management systems and compliance requirements
- Experience leading a H&S; team and building effective relationships with senior stakeholders and operational teams
- Strong ISO 45001 experience, with exposure to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 highly regarded
- Relevant auditing and incident investigation qualifications
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience supporting organisational change and continuous improvement
- Willingness to travel regularly to interstate sites and internationally when required
