Upper Beaconsfield Community Early Learning Centre is looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader Educator to join our team in a permanent part time position. The successful applicant will take responsibility for the Wombats Room (3–5 years), including the educational program, weekly observations, planning and reflections, while working collaboratively with the wider team. You will work closely with Lead Educators and the wider team to provide high-quality learning experiences and genuine connections for children and families.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Wombats Room (3–5 years)
- Develop and deliver the educational program
- Conduct weekly observations, planning and reflections
- Work collaboratively with Lead Educators and the wider team
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Demonstrate initiative and flexibility with rotating shifts

About you

- Minimum 3 years' experience in early childhood education
- Experience working with 3–5-year-old children
- Confident leading a room and its educational program
- Confident with observations,



planning and weekly reflections
- Passionate, motivated and committed to high-quality outcomes
- Works well as part of a team
- Demonstrates initiative and flexibility
- Builds strong relationships with children, families and colleagues

Upper Beaconsfield Community Early Learning Centre is a small, community-focused, not-for-profit service with up to 27 children per day. Every dollar outside of our operating costs goes directly back into the Centre and the children we care for. Located within the Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre, we provide opportunities for children to connect with the wider community and enjoy our surrounding natural spaces, including the community garden, playground and greenery.
