Bethanie Home Care offer a variety of services to ageingAustralians, allowing them to live independently in their own homesthroughout Perth, Geraldton and in the South West.

We are currently seeking a Qualified Support Worker to provide services in the North Central Metro area, from Balcatta to West Perth and across to Mount Lawley and their surrounds.

The role:
n
n
- Permanent part time employment
n
- 25 guaranteed minimum hours per week
n
- You must be available Monday to Friday from 10am –6pm.
n
n
As you will be required to use your own car in this role, we offer a travel allowance of $1.05 per kilometre.
n
About You
n
n
- Previous experience working in an aged care or communitycare workplace
n
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
n
- Hold a current driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
n
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to applyfor one)
n
n
The Role
n
n
- Professionally deliver a variety of services including foodpreparation,
cleaning and laundry services, personal care, aswell as supporting hobbies, interests and leisureactivities
n
- Ensure all living areas of clients' homes are kept clean,tidy and safe from hazards
n
- Ensure all personal care tasks and outcomes are met anddocumented appropriately
n
- Support clients with transport to appointments
n
- Provide social support to clients by spending time doingthe things they love
n
- Prioritise a personal connection with clients, ensuringrespect and compassion is shown at all time
n
