Chief Financial Officer, The Ian Potter Foundation

The Ian Potter Foundation is one of Australia's leading philanthropic foundations. Founded in 1964 by Sir Ian Potter, the Foundation grants more than $40 million a year across the arts, medical & public health, the environment, early childhood development and community wellbeing.

The Ian Potter Foundation is looking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer to join its senior executive team.

The current CFO will be a strategic, commercially astute leader who has a track record of partnering with senior executives and working with an experienced board. The ideal candidate will build relationships with stakeholders with ease, with the ability to enhance risk management and embed financial professionalism across every part of the organisation’s operations. They will collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Committee and the board, and know what best-practice corporate governance looks like. Level-headed, calm and considered under pressure, they will see this role as a way of contributing to making our community a better place for all Australians.

This role is offered on a four day per week basis.
