Key responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a tree crew on a daily basis
- Perform advanced climbing, pruning and tree removal operations
- Conduct pre-starts, risk assessments and site safety inspections
- Mentor and train apprentices and developing arborists
- Liaise professionally with clients and stakeholders on site
- Complete job documentation and reporting using company systems
- Ensure plant, equipment and vehicles are maintained and operated safely

About you

- Minimum Certificate III in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a climbing arborist
- Demonstrated experience leading crews and mentoring staff
- Current Driver's Licence
- Robust knowledge of safe work practices and industry standards
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
- Desirable: Experience working within local government or commercial arboriculture environments
