Black River Quarry, a part of Barro Group– is seeking to engage a Quarry Weighbridge Operator.

Excellent base wage + overtime and leave accruals.

We are looking for a hands on person who likes customer service and has most probably had a previous background in the trucking, quarrying or transport industries as either a driver, operator or administrator.

The key responsibilities:

- Operate computer-based weighbridge system - taking accurate customer phone orders and effecting delivery of products
n
- Schedule truck loads
n
- Assit with some quarry safety inductions for contractors, truck drivers and visitors
n
- Undertake day-to-day administration activities
n
- Multi task and at times work under pressure to meet customer requirements
n
- Answer phone calls and provide customer support
n
- Work as part of a small team
n
- Work flexible schedule including regular Saturday mornings
n
- Must be reliable and punctual
n
- Follow company systems including working safely
n
