Glengala Health is seeking dedicated General Practitioners and Specialist Doctors to join our growing medical team in Sunshine West, Victoria. What you'll be doing

Providing comprehensive general practice or specialist medical care to patients of all ages and backgrounds

Conducting thorough patient consultations, including history taking, physical examinations and diagnosis

Developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans and management strategies

Prescribing medications and monitoring patient responses to treatment

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in compliance with all regulatory requirements

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care

Providing health promotion and disease prevention advice to patients

Participating in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives





Managing practice administration and compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines

What we're looking for

Registered with the Australian Medical Board or eligible to register as a General Practitioner or Specialist Doctor

Current professional indemnity insurance or willingness to obtain it through the practice

AHPRA registration and maintain all required certifications

Australian citizenship or permanent residency status (or appropriate visa sponsorship eligibility)

Proven experience in general practice or specialist medicine, with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality patient care

Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to stay current with medical developments and best practice guidelines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues

A commitment to patient-centred care and a collaborative approach to healthcare delivery

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

For locum positions: flexibility with scheduling and the ability to adapt quickly to current practice environments
