About the role

As a member of the Front of House team, you will deliver exceptional table service across premium restaurants, weddings, functions, and events at Marnong Estate. You will run your own section confidently within a busy a la carte environment, provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, beverages, and wine pairings, and create memorable guest experiences through genuine and attentive service.

- Maintain impeccable presentation and service standards
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Support the successful delivery of restaurant, café, and event operations

About you

- Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality
- At least 1 year experience as a Section Waiter/Waitress or similar
- Current RSA Certificate (essential)
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Experience working in busy, high-volume environments
- Strong understanding of service sequence and order flow
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask effectively
- Qualified presentation and strong attention to detail
- Availability to work rotating rosters, including weekends, evenings, public holidays, and opening/closing shifts

- Three-plate carrying skills
- Bar experience
- Barista experience
- Wine and spirits knowledge
- Upselling experience
