An established and growing commercial construction and fit-out business is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their Brisbane team. Based in Bowen Hills office, this is a senior opportunity for an estimator who has a strong track record across large-scale new build projects, ideally within the commercial and retail sectors. You'll be working across projects valued at $20m+, taking ownership of the estimating and tendering process and working closely with the wider pre-construction and project teams.

- Strong experience estimating $20m+ new build projects

- Retail project experience highly regarded

- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, costs and subcontractor markets

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- The ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team

The Role
n

- Prepare and manage detailed tenders for $20m+ current build projects
n
- Review project plans, specifications, scopes and documentation to develop accurate estimates
n
- Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing throughout the tender process
n
- Identify project risks, cost opportunities and value-engineering options
n
- Work closely with the pre-construction, design and delivery teams to ensure projects are accurately costed
n
- Assist with tender presentations, negotiations and handover to the project team
n
