Assemco Pty Ltd (located in Croydon Sth) has been a market leader in the outsourcing industry for the past 30 years. Partnering with Kenworth Trucks, Alstom and other major customers for their assembly and manufacturing requirements. We are the largest supplier to Kenworth Trucks (the leading manufacturer of premium Commercial Trucks sold around the world).
Due to increase in customer demand, we are looking for automotive assemblers who will be responsible for helping to assemble some of Australia's greatest trucks within a strong, dynamic team environment so an ability to work effectively with others is key, along with:
Skills and aptitude required:
Must be reliable 5 days a week
Good mechanical & technical aptitude(read tech drawings)
Experience using battery hand tools, compressed air tools, jigs and low level cranes
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Trustworthy and values their job within the organisation
Value quality workmanship built into every assembly
Strong and valuable physical fitness
Like to organise your work ahead of time
Values a zero tolerance for drug and alcohol on site
Values safety and safety of others
Willing to undergo survey assessments
Willing to attend a pre-employment medical assessment & obtain current National Police Report
A typical working week is 7am - 3.30pm Mon-Thurs and 7am – 1pm Friday. You will work a minimum of 38hrs a week. Two paid breaks plus a lunch break.
