That’s Amore Cheese is a proudly Australian owned manufacturer of Italian style and artisanal cheeses, supplying restaurants, delis, supermarkets and customers across Australia.
We’re looking for a reliable, energetic and hardworking Pick Packer to join our busy Dispatch & Warehouse team in Thomastown.
If you’re someone who likes to keep moving, gets satisfaction from getting orders right, and isn’t afraid of a bit of hard work, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing
Working as part of our Dispatch team, you’ll help make sure our products get from our warehouse to our customers accurately, safely and on time.
Your day will include:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading products weighing up to 15-20kg
- Labelling, wrapping and preparing goods for dispatch
- Rotating stock and following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures
- Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
- Working in cool room environments
- Checking orders for accuracy and reporting any issues to Dispatch Management
- Maintaining accurate records and paperwork
- Working closely with our drivers and warehouse team to meet daily targets
- Maintaining a clean,
organised and secure warehouse
- Providing friendly and professional service to our customers when required
What we’re looking for
You’ll be a great fit if you are:
- Reliable and punctual – we need someone our team can count on
- Physically fit and comfortable regularly lifting up to 20kg
- Comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse environment
- Able to work in cool rooms
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- A good communicator who works well as part of a team
- Customer-focused and professional
- Flexible and willing to jump in and help wherever needed
- Comfortable following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements
Bonus, but not essential:
- Experience with delivery driving
- Previous warehouse, pick packing or food manufacturing experience
