The role offers exposure to a diverse range of legal matters, including property, domestic building law, deceased estates, consumer law, infringements, legal capacity, guardianship and administration, the National Disability Insurance Scheme, criminal law, and family law.

Key responsibilities

- Working closely with the Legal Services Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, timely legal advice to the Senior Master and Judicial Registrar.
n
- You will also support the supervision, development, and mentoring of a team of approximately 18 staff, contributing to a cooperative and high-performing environment.
n
- Supporting the leadership and operational oversight of the Legal Services function, including contributing to workforce capability,



service delivery outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Providing supervision, technical leadership and guidance to Senior Legal Officers and the broader team, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, risk-based legal advice and supporting capability development.

What you need

- Admission as an Australian Lawyer, holding a current practising certificate with the Supreme Court of Victoria.

- Demonstrated high-level legal expertise, with the ability to provide authoritative advice on complex legal matters.
