We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our finance team. This is a varied role — while Accounts Payable will be your core focus, you'll also provide overflow support to our Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions, giving you genuine breadth across the finance function and plenty of prospect to build your skills.
Key responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices and matching to purchase orders/goods receipts
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Processing reimbursements and credit card reconciliations
- Preparing supplier payment runs
- Maintaining accurate supplier records and payment terms
- Responding to supplier queries in a timely, professional manner
- Debtor follow-up and query resolution
- Processing customer credit notes
- Assisting with data entry and preparation for payroll
- Supporting time sheet processing and leave record maintenance
About you
- Prior experience in an Accounts Payable or broader finance/accounts role
- Comfortable juggling priorities across multiple functions
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on record keeping
- Confident with Excel and accounting/ERP software
- Payroll exposure highly regarded, but not essential
- A team player who's happy to pitch in wherever needed
- Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment is a plus
