Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Routine analysis of raw materials and finished products by GC & ICP
- Review analytical data
- Perform out of specification investigations
- Data entry
- General laboratory housekeeping
- Maintaining consumable item stock levels
To be successful, we are looking for the following:
- 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
- A formal qualification in chemistry or a related discipline
- Demonstrable experience in the use of data management software ‘Openlab’ (Agilent System)
- Strong attention to detail
- A clear understanding of chemical safety
- A transparent understanding of good laboratory practices
- The ability to work both autonomously and in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- A working knowledge of standard office applications such as MS Word and Excel
It will also be beneficial, but not essential, for you to have:
Experience in Waters instrumentation troubleshooting and maintenance
