PMO Governance & Assurance Manager - Portfolio Governance, Assurance - Defence!

Long-term Defence opportunity based in Adelaide

Contract until 30 June 2027 with a 12 month extension

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced PMO Governance & Assurance Manager to support the effective governance and oversight of a complex portfolio of programs and projects. You will drive governance, planning, reporting, assurance and continuous improvement across a high-profile Defence environment.

The successful PMO Governance & Assurance Manager will be based in Adelaide, supporting portfolio-level governance, reporting and delivery activities across multiple concurrent programs and projects.

The successful PMO Governance & Assurance Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Managing PMO governance frameworks, standards and reporting processes.
- Coordinating governance forums, stage gates and portfolio assurance activities.
- Monitoring and reporting risks, issues, dependencies and portfolio performance.
- Developing executive dashboards, reporting packs and governance artefacts.





The successful PMO Governance & Assurance Manager will have experience in the following:

- PMO management, portfolio governance and project assurance.
- Executive reporting, dashboards and portfolio performance monitoring.
- Risk, issue, dependency and change control governance.
- Program/project frameworks, standards and continuous improvement.

Robust stakeholder engagement skills and experience supporting complex portfolios and multidisciplinary delivery teams will be essential and Defence industry experience is highly regarded.
