Select Labour Solutions is hiring an Account Manager on behalf of our valued partner in business — a very well established and highly regarded PALM scheme provider with strong experience in backpacker recruitment.

About the role

We are looking for a commercially minded Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of highly valued existing clients while driving business growth. This is not a pure hunter role. You will deepen relationships, protect and grow revenue from current accounts, and actively identify new opportunities within and around those clients. You will work across both the PALM scheme and backpacker recruitment streams, helping clients meet their workforce needs while contributing to the wider sales and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

Manage and grow a portfolio of key client accounts

Build strong, long-term relationships with existing clients

Drive retention, upsells and cross-sells

Identify and close growth opportunities within current accounts

Generate new business through your network and existing relationships





Work closely with internal sales and delivery teams to ensure excellent service delivery

Meet clear performance targets around retention, growth and current revenue

About you

Proven experience in account management, business development or recruitment (ideally within labour hire, agriculture, horticulture or a related industry)

Strong relationship management and commercial skills

Ability to balance client care with growth targets

Confident communicator who can work independently and collaboratively

Understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) the PALM scheme and backpacker market

Based in Victoria with full working rights

Willingness to travel within Victoria as required

Competitive base salary + commission/bonus structure
