About the Role

n

At dnata catering & retail, payroll plays a vital role in supporting our people and operations nationwide. We're seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our close-knit team in Broadbeach and help deliver accurate, timely payroll services across a large and diverse workforce.

n

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values precision, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, supportive team. In this role you will:

- Process end-to-end weekly and fortnightly payrolls nationally
n
- Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations and compliance checks
n
- Manage onboarding and employee data across multiple systems
n
- Interpret awards and agreements and apply pay changes accurately
n
- Process superannuation, leave accruals and payroll adjustments
n
- Support Labour Hire payroll processing across Australia
n
- Respond to payroll queries professionally and efficiently
n
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and accuracy
n

About You

n

n
- Ideally 2+ years' payroll experience
n




- Strong understanding of payroll legislation including: superannuation, parental leave provisions, workers compensation and long service leave
n
- Strong experience with Enterprise Agreements and Award interpretation
n
- High attention to detail and pride in accuracy
n
- Strong Excel and systems capability (experience with Rockfast highly regarded)
n
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced workplace
n
- Proactive mindset with strong communication skills
n
- Integrity, discretion and respect for confidentiality
n
- A positive, team-first attitude and strong cultural fit - this is a close-knit team that values collaboration, reliability and supporting one another during busy periods
