About the role

The Property Compliance Officer ensures our properties adhere to relevant regulations and safety standards through coordinating compliance activities, diligent record-keeping, and risk identification. Your day-to-day will include coordinating inspections and repair works, preparing and submitting compliance reports, maintaining up-to-date records, certifications and permits, and proactively addressing issues before they **escalate**.

This is a 12-month Fixed-term contract.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented and ideally has experience in property compliance, facilities management, or risk management. To thrive in this role, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in property compliance, facilities management, or building compliance.




- Experience coordinating AESMR and Essential Safety Measures (ESM) compliance activities.
- Solid contractor and stakeholder management skills, including scheduling and coordination across a property portfolio.
- Knowledge of building compliance obligations, the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), auditing, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Well-developed administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience in the not-for-profit, community housing, or social housing sector is highly regarded.
