Key Responsibilities

n

- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, and filling holes or cracks.
n
- Apply primers, sealers, and undercoats to ensure proper paint adhesion.
n
- Mix and match paint colours to achieve specified finishes.
n
- Apply paint and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
n
- Deliver high-quality finishes with consistent coverage and attention to detail.
n
- Follow project specifications, drawings, and site instructions.
n
- Maintain and clean painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
n
- Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements.
n

Essential Requirements

n

n




- Trade Qualified Painter (Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent).
n
- Current and valid Driver's Licence.
n
- Current EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Ticket.
n
- Current Blue Card.
n
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
n
- Proven experience in commercial and/or residential painting.
n
- Strong knowledge of painting products, finishes, and application techniques.
n
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
n
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
n
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
n
- Current Construction White Card.
n
- Experience working on schools, government facilities, or community projects.
n
- Familiarity with a range of surface preparation and coating systems.
n
