The Opportunity

Our expandingTransport divisionis looking for anexperiencedHeavy Rigid (HR) and Heavy Combination (HC)driver to take the wheel of one of our Semi Live Bottom and 10-Wheeler Rigid trucks in metro Melbourne. You’ll play a critical role in carting a range of soils and quarry products, as well as helping divert millions of tonnes of demolition and construction waste from landfill.

Delta operates a fleet of bin trucks, truck & dog tippers, road sweepers, and other vehicles servicing our civil and demolition businesses and external customers.

Key responsibilities

- Operate HR and HC vehicles safely and efficiently across metro Melbourne
- Transport soils, quarry materials, and construction waste
- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and safety regulations
- Maintain vehicles to a high standard and report any issues
- Follow all site rules and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
- Deliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders




- Be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current VicRoads driving history report
- 2 years minimum proven experience driving a truck & trailer and semi flocom
- Strong knowledge of the Melbourne metropolitan area
- Commitment to safety and CoR compliance
- Flexibility with working hours
- Skilled presentation and strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
