Production & Process Operators - Food Manufacturing (Day & Afternoon Shifts)

Morning and Afternoon Shift Roles available. On site in Altona North.

Mandatory Requirements: Must have prior experience in food manufacturing, be reliable, available for rostered shifts, and punctual for shift commencement.

As we continue to grow in the FMCG industry, we are looking for skilled and motivated Production & Process Operators to join our team and play a pivitol role in ensuring our production lines run efficiently, safely, and at the highest product quality standards.

About the Role

The Production & Process Operator is a role within our operations team, responsible for the operation of our production and packaging lines.

This is a hands on role in a fast paced FMCG environment that requires technical know-how, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support and Troubleshooting

- Operate filling and packing machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform machine setup, adjustments and changeovers
- Troubleshoot and resolve production line issues
- Escalate recurring or complex faults to the Line Leader

Quality Monitoring and Documentation

- Follow GMP and company quality systems during all production runs
- Complete accurate production records including output,



downtime and changeovers
- Support quality investigations with observations and data

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

- Work closely with Production, QA and Engineering teams
- Identify and suggest process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce waste

Compliance and Safety

- Follow all GMP, food safety and workplace safety protocols
- Conduct safety checks and report hazards or incidents immediately
- Participate in training and actively contribute to a safe workplace culture

About You

- Proven experience in FMCG food manufacturing (essential)
- Experience with machine setup, troubleshooting and changeovers
- Strong understanding of GMP, food safety and quality systems
- Positive physical stamina (able to lift up to 15kg and stand for extended periods)
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- Reliable, positive and committed to rostered shifts

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Production Output – Units produced per shift/hour.
- Quality Yield – Percentage of units meeting standards.
- Line Uptime – Time production line operates without stoppages.
- Compliance with all safety and GMP standards
