Cessnock Hospitality Group is seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaner to join the team at Cessnock Leagues Club.
With the Club’s redevelopment now complete, this is an opportunity to work in a fresh, contemporary venue and help maintain the high standards our members and guests expect.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and presenting public areas, amenities and staff facilities
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces
- Emptying bins and replenishing supplies
- Completing scheduled cleaning tasks thoroughly and efficiently
- Ensuring the venue is clean, welcoming and ready for trade

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and presenting public areas, amenities and staff facilities
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces
- Emptying bins and replenishing supplies
- Completing scheduled cleaning tasks thoroughly and efficiently
- Ensuring the venue is clean, welcoming and ready for trade
Cleaning shifts are generally worked between 5:00 am and 9:00 am across a seven-day roster.
There may also be opportunities to undertake housekeeping shifts at Wine Country Motor Inn, generally between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. These duties may include cleaning guest rooms, changing linen, replenishing amenities and preparing rooms for arriving guests.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous commercial cleaning or housekeeping experience
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- The ability to work independently and complete tasks within required timeframes
- A reliable, punctual and positive approach
- The physical capacity to undertake active cleaning duties
- Availability to work early mornings and weekends as rostered
