About the Hotel - W Melbourne

W Melbourne is the rebel between the streets, sitting in the heart of the Melbourne CBD on the iconic Flinders Lane, the luxury hotel takes its design cues from Australia's cultural capital and providing the back-lane entrance keys to what's New/Next in the city. Extending the laneway culture inside, 294 bold rooms and suites peel back the layers and revel in the city’s history. There are four electric and daring bars and restaurants within the hotel, plus over 800 square metres of ultra-modern event space. W Melbourne is set to be the place to see and be seen in.

About the Venue - Belasco restaurant

Something new is cooking, with a New York attitude and an Italian soul. Belasco is the newest dining destination at W Melbourne, and it's almost time to pull up a seat. Belasco is where long lunches slip into late afternoons, martinis arrive ice-cold, and plates are made for passing across the table. It brings a distinctly Melbourne take on Italian dining, serving bold flavours, great wine and memorable moments.

Located on Ground Level, Belasco will be responsible for serving our remixed luxury buffet breakfast, along with a la carte lunch and dinner.

What We Expect of You

Experience in a fast-paced, upscale/luxury F&B; environment. Have provided personalised table service and/or been a section waiter

Previous experience in hotels is advantageous

A proactive, upbeat attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality

Confidence engaging with guests and working as part of a team; with a playful, polished, and guest-focused approach to service

A desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges

A current Victorian RSA and valid Australian Working Rights is essential

Deliver warm,

Process orders and payments efficiently using the MICROS system

Complete opening and closing duties, including restocking and venue reset

Create memorable guest experiences through attention to detail and genuine connection

Maintain presentation and service standards across the restaurant and bar areas

Work collaboratively with the kitchen and wider hotel team

Take pride in product knowledge, accuracy, and operational excellence

Represent the W brand through confident, professional, and energetic service
