We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Earthmoving plant Mechanic/Foreman to fill a position based atour workshop in Rye, Victoria.

Reporting to the State Workshop Manager, this position will involve but not be limited to:

- Working on mostly earthmoving equipment at our landfill site and Transfer Stations.
- General mechanical works
- Both major and minor repairs
- Carrying out breakdown repairs
- Scheduled maintenance

The successful applicant will possess:

- Trade certification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Proven experience with repairing a range of earthmoving equipment
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance & Occupational Health & Safety
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Reliability
- Self motivation
- The ability to work under pressure and changing priorities

In accordance with our Company’s recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical, which includes a drug test. A current driving history, with a good driving record will also need to be provided.
