We are seeking an experienced IRATA Level 2 Rope Access Technician with practical experience in ground engineering, slope stabilisation and geotechnical construction. This role involves completing specialised rope access activities in challenging environments while working under the direction and supervision of an IRATA Level 3 Technician.

About the Role

You will join an experienced project team delivering civil, geotechnical and slope stabilisation works across metropolitan Queensland and Northern NSW. The position involves rope access, drilling support, grouting, steel reinforcement and the installation of ground support and rockfall protection systems.
A strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance with rope access procedures is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Install steel reinforcement, anchor components, bearing plates and associated ground support elements.
- Assist with installation of rockfall mesh and other slope stabilisation systems.
- Undertake rope access works under the direction and supervision of an IRATA Level 3 technician.
- Assist with rope access rigging, equipment setup and general ground engineering activities.
- Assist with drilling operations and provide offside support to the drilling crew.
- Carry out grout mixing, pumping and injection for soil nails, anchors and ground support systems.
- Complete daily site records, inspections and QA documentation as required.
- Participate in pre-starts,

Skills and Experience Required

- Current IRATA Level 2 Rope Access qualification/ticket.
- Experience in grouting and ground engineering/slope stabilisation works.
- Experience with steel reinforcement and rockfall mesh installation.
- Basic drilling/offside experience.
- White Card and relevant site safety qualifications.
- Ability to work effectively under the direction of an IRATA Level 3 Supervisor
