Zeal Landscapes & Maintenance is a growing, family-owned landscaping business based in Pakenham, servicing South-East Melbourne, Melbourne’s surrounding suburbs.

We specialise in landscape construction and outdoor projects, including turf installation, retaining walls, decking, paving, concreting, fencing, drainage and general landscaping.

We are looking for a qualified, experienced, reliable and hardworking Landscaper to join our growing team.

This position will initially be 4 days per week, with the opportunity to transition into ongoing full-time employment We are looking for someone who is interested in building a long-term career with our business.

About the Role

The successful applicant will have solid experience in landscape construction and be confident working both independently and as part of a small team.





You will be involved in a variety of residential landscape construction projects and will be expected to complete work to a high standard while maintaining a safe, clean and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- General landscape construction and maintenance
- Excavation, earthworks and site preparation
- Operating excavators and Posi Track loaders
- Turf preparation, soil preparation and turf installation
- Retaining wall construction
- Decking and timber construction
- Paving and concreting
- Fencing and timber works
- Garden bed construction and general landscaping
- Drainage and site preparation
- Safe operation and use of landscaping machinery, tools and equipment
- Loading, unloading and handling materials
- General site preparation and site clean-up
- Following workplace health and safety requirements
- Delivering high-quality workmanship across all projects

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in landscaping or landscape construction
- Certificate III in Landscape Construction (AHC30921) or an equivalent relevant qualification
- Demonstrated experience across a range of landscape construction projects
- Proven experience operating excavators




- Experience operating Posi Track loaders and other landscaping machinery is highly regarded
- Relevant machinery tickets/licences are highly regarded, however practical operating experience will also be considered
- A current Australian driver's licence
- Reliable transport and the ability to travel to different job sites
- Good communication skills and a skilled attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality
- Pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
- A good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- The ability to follow instructions and take responsibility for completing assigned tasks
