Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced qualified Tax Accountant to join our growing team in our Corlette NSW office.

n

Min 2-4 years Public practice Tax accounting firm experience essential.

n

The successful candidate will have:

n

The ability to prepare all types of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements

n

The ability to analyse financial statements and recommend improvement strategies

n

The ability to use various accounting packages including, XERO, MYOBAE – Systems Service (Accountants Enterprise), MYOB AccountRight and essentials , Excel and ATO Tax Agent Portal

n

Being an IPA, CA, CPA or registered Tax agent is an advantage.

n

Enjoy dealing directly with clients and possess good communication skills

n





Skills required are:

n

Entering financial data leading to completing P&L; and B/Sheet, BAS and tax returns.

n

Proficient in XERO, MYOB account right, essentials, MYOB AE tax. AE MAS (old Sol6}, EXCEL and Word (vital Skills).

n

Further software such as Payroller, Xero payroll, Quickbooks and a problem solver is not essential but is an advantage.

THIS IS NOT A POSITION AS A COMPANY ACCOUNTANT

Position is Full time... work week is Mon to Friday... Maybe able to do some work from home on occassion

n

You will need good phone skills, dealing with clients and tax office
