About The Role
As part of the communications team, you will be responsible for developing and driving organic social media content for CCQ. You’ll work with a range of stakeholders to develop a calendar of scroll-stopping content across social channels, engaging diverse audiences and championing CCQ initiatives. You’ll unearth compelling stories and translate complex information into digestible content that is on-brand, on-message and fit-for-platform.
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, digital media,
public relations or related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Experience developing, delivering and optimising organic social media content across major platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
- High-level writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt tone, message and format for different audiences, channels and content types.
- Experience planning and managing social media content calendars, campaign activity and publishing schedules in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, platform best practice, audience engagement, accessibility, moderation and community management.
- Ability to translate complex information, evidence and key messages into clear, engaging and audience-appropriate social media content.
- Experience creating, briefing or coordinating visual content, including images, short-form video, graphics, stories, reels and platform-specific creative assets.
- Ability to monitor and report on social media performance, using insights to improve content, engagement and channel effectiveness.
In addition, if you have any of the following experience please tell us about it - it’s not essential, but good to have:
- Experience working in health, not-for-profit, community services,
advocacy or behaviour change communications.
- Experience using social media management and reporting tools such as Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager or similar.
- Basic design, photography or video editing skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar.
- Experience supporting social media activity for sensitive topics, lived-experience stories, community campaigns or issues management.
